These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Geneve International Gems Lab (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "GGL"), located at 981, Room No. 5, Silom Road, Silom Subdistrict, Bang Rak District, Bangkok 10500.
1. GGL provides gem testing and certification services based on professional examination, scientific methods, and gemological equipment operated by qualified experts.
2. All results and conclusions in the certificate are derived solely from the item as presented at the time of examination and may not apply if the item has been altered in any way afterward.
3. GGL does not detect every possible treatment, enhancement, or synthetic origin in every case, and therefore does not guarantee full disclosure beyond the limits of current gemological technology.
4. Clients must submit items at their own risk. GGL is not liable for damage resulting from the examination process unless caused by gross negligence.
5. Ownership of the item remains with the client. The client affirms that the item is not stolen, counterfeit, or part of any legal dispute.
6. GGL does not engage in buying, selling, or valuation of gemstones and is not responsible for the retail or wholesale value of the certified item.
7. Certificates issued are opinions and not guarantees. GGL disclaims all liability for commercial decisions based on certification results.
8. GGL certificates are non-transferable and apply only to the item examined; duplications or alterations are strictly prohibited.
9. GGL may retain photographic records of submitted items for verification, quality control, or promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested by the client in writing.
10. GGL takes reasonable measures for the care and custody of items, but is not liable for loss, damage, or theft caused by fire, natural disasters, or unforeseen events.
11. The turnaround time for certification may vary based on volume and complexity, and no guarantees are made for expedited services unless agreed in writing.
12. GGL reserves the right to reject any item that is unsafe, damaged, or deemed inappropriate for examination.
13. Clients are responsible for all costs related to shipping and insurance of items both to and from GGL.
14. Any disputes regarding the interpretation of certificates must be raised within 7 days of issue; otherwise, the certificate will be considered final and binding.
15. All services and reports are subject to full payment before release. Unpaid items may be withheld until dues are cleared.
16. GGL reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review them periodically.
17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
18. By submitting an item for certification, the client acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
